One of the greatest Swedish footballers of all time, Henrik Larsson, trained for the first time on Monday with his team mates in the team.
The 35-year-old striker, who represented the club last season and triumphed in the UEFA Champions League, was lent to the Manchester team experiencing a shortage of forwards until March 12 by the "Helsingborgs" club, where H. Larsson planned to end his career.
Throughout this week, the Swede will train intensively, and later will return to his homeland, where he will celebrate Christmas with his family.
The new football player will be tested by head coach Sir Alex Ferguson on January 1st, when "Man Utd" will play a match in the English Premier League.
H. Larsson is considered one of the most dangerous strikers on the old continent. This is well demonstrated by statistics - while representing Glasgow Celtic he scored 242 goals in 315 matches, and playing for Barcelona he defeated the opponents' goalkeepers 21 times in 33 games.
