Former French defender Laurent Blanc may return to his homeland in the near future. He is being invited to join a club from the French Ligue 1. This time, however, Laurent Blanc would not be a defender for this club, but a sporting director.
Laurent Blanc claims that before accepting the decision of joining the "Marseille" club as a sporting director, he would need to have all the guarantees from the club. According to the team manager Christophe Bouchet, the delay is definitely not due to financial reasons.
"We are negotiating the definition of the actual duties," Boucet told "L'Equipe" magazine. "We do not want to rush things, we just have some organizational issues. There is no need to hurry."
