Italian champions confirmed that one of the possible targets to join the team could be the forward from Rome.
In an interview with Milan television channel, club vice president Adriano Galliani said: "Corradi would solve our fourth forward problem. His positive comments about the club pleased us. He is our primary target."
The 28-year-old forward admitted that if he had to leave Roma, a club facing financial problems, his first choice would be "Milan": "It's normal that I am happy, but if I had to leave "Lazio", "Milan" would be my first choice, because they offer important guarantees in all aspects."
However, Galliani does not rush to sign Corradi, who was recently called up to the Italian national team for the European Championship: "Milan fans have to wait. Right now he is a "Lazio" player, but he would be welcomed here. We are looking for a new forward, but we have to decide what role he will have."
"Milan" had four forwards this past season - Shevchenko, Inzaghi, Tomasson, and the young Borriello. The latter rarely got to play, and will be loaned to another team to gain playing experience. So the team will need a new forward who is willing to spend more time on the bench."
