Seventh place finisher in the championship of the A League this year has signed a contract with former Klaipėda "Atlantas" goalkeeper Liudvikas Valius.
Since the former Vilnius team goalkeeper, Polish Maciej Kijewski, is looking for another club and is likely to return to his homeland, the club has reached an agreement with the main goalkeeper of "Atlantas" and from now on he will wear the capital team's jersey.
The goalkeeper played at "Atlantas" since 2004, and this year's season played only one match in the A League championship, in which he could not participate due to disqualification.
"28 years old, 190 cm tall, Liudvikas Valius will be a good replacement for our former goalkeeper M. Kijewski" - said Ivan Švabovičius, currently serving as the head coach of the Vilnius team.
This is the second footballer from Klaipėda "Atlantas" who has arrived in Vilnius - in the summer, the capital team was joined by forward Aivaras Laurišas.
