Birmingham striker Chris Sutton fell out of the lineup for six weeks. C. Sutton suffered an unpleasant injury - a concussion on December 23 during the Premier League match against Man Utd in the second half and was substituted.
After a medical check-up, it was revealed that the 33-year-old striker would not be able to play until at least mid-February.
C. Sutton moved to Aston Villa in October from Birmingham, where he had been playing since the beginning of the year. Prior to that, the Englishman represented Celtic for six years.
It is believed that Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill will be looking for another striker in the upcoming transfer window.
