The bottom of the table of the Spanish Championship league San Sebastian decided to strengthen and until the end of the season rented the former Brazilian national team attacking midfielder Savio from "Flamengo".
It is noted that there is no clause in the agreement allowing the Spanish club to purchase the player after the season, who will celebrate his 33rd birthday next week.
"Real Sociedad" occupies only the 19th place out of 20 teams in the Spanish Championship. They have won only one out of sixteen games played this season.
Savio, who started his career at "Flamengo" club in 1992, later played for Madrid's "Real", "Bordeaux" and "Zaragoza" clubs. He has represented the Brazilian national team 44 times and scored 17 goals.
Savio has become the second player to supplement the Basque club - "Real Sociedad" during the winter transfer window, after previously agreeing on the acquisition of Argentine defender Victor Lopez.
