Recently, the Madrid club, which has not been showing the best results, held a meeting of the team's management on Monday, where it was discussed how to get out of the crisis. The Royal club lost three of the last four "La Liga" matches and is already behind the leader Sevilla by five points.

"After the match with 'Deportivo' (on Sunday, 'Real' lost 0-2 in La Coruna), we found ourselves in a situation that no one expected. At the meeting, we all solved the problems - the board of directors, the coaching staff, and the club president. We must do everything possible to identify all the problems and solve them to get out of this crisis," said "Real" sports director Predrag Mijatović officially on the club's website.

According to him, the team's management fully trusts the recently criticized coach from Italy, Fabio Capello, who took over the team this summer.

"We fully trust and rely on coach F. Capello. He is a person who has had several similar situations in the past and has always managed to get out of the crisis and achieve good results, which gives us hope. I am convinced that he will help solve this situation," said P. Mijatović.

"Real" sports director confirmed that despite this unsuccessful streak, the team is still determined to fight for all three season trophies (Spain's championship and cup, as well as the Champions League). According to the Serb, the players understand that they cannot achieve anything with this kind of play and must improve. "The club has not won any title for three years in a row, creating a psychological complex. As a sports director, I can say that the situation is difficult, but there is definitely a way out."

This Thursday, "Real" will play the first match of the Spanish King's Cup quarterfinals with Seville's "Real Betis." According to P. Mijatović, the goal of this match is not just to win, but to prepare for the weekend's Spanish championship match with "Zaragoza" and other battles.

The club's management also urged their future decision to secure David Beckham, whose contract expires in the summer. The 31-year-old Englishman has been offered by "Real" to extend the contract for another two years, but he has not rushed to give his answer.
