The star from the Netherlands Ruud van Nistelrooy announced that he plans to end his career at his current club.

The talented striker recently signed a new contract, which will be valid until 2008, but it was thought that he would spend his last playing years at his first club.

"When I recently signed a new contract, I agreed to it not only for the money," he told the newspaper "The Sun." "I had long conversations with Alex Ferguson (the coach of 'Man Utd') and he explained his future plans to me. He plans to win the Champions League again and I will be happy to help him. I support his plans. I thought that after 'Man Utd' I still had a few years of playing to return to the Netherlands, to the 'PSV' club. But now I no longer think about it," Van Nistelrooy concluded.
