The disciplinary committee of the Spanish Football Federation has imposed penalties on the club's defender Carlos Diogo and forward Luis Fabiano, who got into a fight during a match in Zaragoza last Saturday. Both players will have to miss 5 matches.

Interestingly, both C. Diogo and L. Fabiano managed to score a goal each during the match, which "Zaragoza" won 2-1. The incident occurred in the final moments of the game. Initially, both players exchanged words and clashed heads with each other.

Luis Fabiano lost his temper first and grabbed Carlos Diogo by the throat. In retaliation, Diogo pushed him back, causing the "Sevilla" forward to stumble briefly. The players started grappling with each other again, before being separated by other players on the field. The referee immediately sent both troublemakers off the field.

Although both players later apologized and expressed regret for the brawl, the Spanish Football Federation did not consider reducing the penalties.
