After detailed examinations, it turned out that L. Garcia, like his colleague, suffered a serious injury in the 6-3 defeat to the London team yesterday. This season, the 28-year-old player will no longer appear on the field - he tore his anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee.
"Unfortunately, without L. Garcia, we will have to manage for about 6 months," said Liverpool representative Ian Cotton.
Meanwhile, the injury to M. Gonzalez, who plays on the left side, turned out to be not as severe as originally thought - he will not be able to play for at least three weeks.
X-rays showed that M. Gonzalez avoided fractures, but due to bruising of the cheekbone and contusions, he will have to rest for some time.
