Munich's defender Owen Hargreaves is getting ready to return to the field after a long break. The Englishman injured his leg in a match against Bielefeld's "Arminia" last September and was out of the lineup for a long time.
The football player believes that he has already managed to recover and hopes to return to the field on January 26 in the match against Dortmund's "Borussia", when the winter break ends in the German league.
"I am training personally and everything is going according to plan at the moment, there are no problems with my leg and that is good news. The period when I couldn't play was long and crushing, but similar things can be expected in football," said O. Hargreaves, who should start training with the main team in about a week.
Since playing for "Bayern" since 2000, the English national team defender has been intensively interested by "Man Utd" for several months, and the player himself has expressed his desire to represent the "Red Devils" publicly.
However, when a few days ago "Bayern" announced that they would not let Hargreaves go to Manchester at least until the summer, the defender's tone has become firmer: "Do I represent Bayern or not? This is my team and I don't want to play for any other club. I don't want to talk about this issue anymore, I will just focus on my return to the field," - the defender replied when asked about "Man Utd" for the umpteenth time.
