n Sunday, the remaining two games of the French football championship "Ligue 1" 20th round were played, in which both away teams emerged victorious - the impressively performing "Marseille" this season and the "Monaco" squad showing signs of resurgence for some time now.

The latter club had to withstand the resistance of the "Saint-Etienne" team, which is at the top of the tournament table, in the first match on Sunday away and successfully did so. In the 65th minute, Czech Jan Koller sent the ball into the hosts' goal, which was enough for "Monaco" to secure a minimal victory. Meanwhile, in case of victory, "Saint-Etienne" had the opportunity to rise to the 3rd position, but now with 31 points on their account, they dropped to the 6th place.

In the third position after this round, rose the "Marseille" club, who defeated the "Rennes" footballers positioned in the middle of the tournament table with a score of 0-2 away. Djibril Cisse, who has been demonstrating remarkably good form after a serious injury and scoring goals, led the Marseille team forward in the 58th minute. The final point in this match was scored in the last minute by Toifilou Maoulida. It is worth mentioning that "Rennes" had to play with ten men from the 41st minute, as Stephane Mbia was sent off the field with a red card.
