Edinburgh has big problems in defense, as it was revealed on Tuesday that two right-backs - Scottish Robbie Neilson and a Lithuanian - will miss matches for more than a month.
The 28-year-old Lithuanian played only twenty minutes in Sunday's match against Glasgow Celtic, but suffered a shin injury and had to leave the field.
In his place, Ibrahim Tallis is likely to temporarily become the main right-back for Hearts, unless the Edinburgh club decides to strengthen before the winter transfer window closes.
On Tuesday, reports emerged that Hearts are considering Ghanaian national team defender Laryea Kingston, who currently plays for Moscow's Lokomotiv. Although he prefers to play in the center of the field, he can also play on the right side of defense.
Meanwhile, Scottish right-back Robbie Neilson underwent a knee operation, which will keep him out of action for almost two months.
