The security guard of Barcelona club will not be able to play for up to two months. The Argentine broke his collarbone, and according to doctors, he may need surgery, after which the recovery from the injury lasts from six to eight weeks.
Pablo Zabaleta was unlucky in two ways – firstly, he suffered this injury during a training session colliding with his teammates defender David Garcia and goalkeeper Horka Iraizoz; secondly, this happened on his 22nd birthday.
The defender, who missed the last victorious match with Barcelona, will not be able to help his team in the next seven La Liga matches and will miss the UEFA Cup match with Livorno.
