In the next season of Lithuania's "A League," Kaunas' "Rodiklis" will not participate, and it will be replaced by the "Šilutės" team, which finished in the penultimate place last year and lost additional matches for retention. The Kaunas football club announced this in a statement on their official website.

The Kaunas football club "Rodiklis" is one of the two clubs in the Lithuanian Football Federation's first league that has earned the right to play in the highest division of Lithuanian football.

At the halfway point of the licensing process, we would like to officially announce that the "Rodiklis" football club, evaluating the current situation of Lithuanian football and its possibilities, has decided to withdraw from the NFKA A League and pass the spot to the currently stronger "Šilutės" team.

During a meeting of the club's board, the team was tasked with winning the Lithuanian indoor football championship and performing successfully in the 2007 Lithuanian Football Federation first league.

Currently, the team is training indoors and competing in the Lithuanian indoor football championship. In the near future, the team will begin preparing for the 2007 Lithuanian Football Federation first league championship.
