The charismatic coach of the London team, Jose Mourinho, says that he is happy being part of the English champions' team and wants to stay there until the end of his contract, i.e. until the year 2010.
Recently, there were reports that the Portuguese would leave the English Premier League champions after the season, and would be replaced by the national team coach of Russia, Dutchman Guus Hiddink.
However, the 43-year-old coach now insists that his family has settled in London and changing clubs is not wise: "My family is happy here. It wouldn't be good for my children if we changed our place of residence."
"I am made for the Premier League and I love England as a football country," said the coach. "I would be very happy if I worked for the London team until the end of my contract."
J. Mourinho arrived at Chelsea in 2004 from Porto, with which he won the UEFA Champions League. Under his leadership, the London team won two Premier League titles in two seasons, became Community Shield and League Cup winners.
