Forward Milan Baros from Birmingham team can move to France - the 25-year-old Czech is being eyed by the strongest club in France.
"I can confirm that I met with the player's agent," said Lyon coach Gerard Houllier.
G.Houllier had previously publicly stated that the doors to his team are closed for M.Baroš, after the forward refused to come to France in 2005. But the call from the Czech national team striker made the former Liverpool coach change his mind: "Truth is, that call changed everything. Only a fool wouldn't change his opinion."
The coach also admitted that he is looking for a replacement for injured midfielder Alou Diarra who has been sidelined for two months: "We need reinforcements and I am glad that the club is working in that direction."
