On Sunday in a match of the Italian championship against the "Lazio" club, after a two-month break, the "Milan" team and the Brazilian national team goalkeeper Dida returned to the field. The footballer dropped out of the lineup at the end of November, when he injured the cruciate ligaments of his left knee in a match against Athens' "AEK".

After Sunday's match, the goalkeeper was satisfied with both his performance and the result achieved: "The competition was tough, and earning a point away from home is always a good result. I myself am trying to regain form, little by little everything is returning to its old tracks," Dida said after the goalless draw.

The player's contract with is ending this summer, so both parties were negotiating an extension. However, it is reported that the negotiations stalled because they could not agree on the financial part of the contract.

"What will I do next? At the moment, I am in this club and will devote all my energy to help the team finish fourth in the championship, or maybe even third," the Brazilian said about his future plans. It is worth recalling that after the corruption scandal, the "Milan" club had to start the season with an eight-point deficit.
