On Tuesday, the club officially confirmed that they acquired the former captain of Roma and the Italian national team defender Massimo Oddo for 7.75 million euros.

As part of the compensation, "Lazio" also received all rights to , who had been on loan to Roma since the beginning of the season.

The 30-year-old M. Oddo, who won the World Cup with the Italian national team last year, played for the "Lazio" team for 4 and a half seasons, appearing 135 times and scoring 17 goals in Serie A matches.

In his previous career, the player represented the teams "Monza", "Napoli" and "Verona", and he started his professional career in 1993 at the club "Milan".

He played his first match for the national team in August 2002. In total, M. Oddo represented his country 25 times and scored one goal.
