"Premier League debutant Keith Gillespie is facing a long disqualification. The Northern Irishman committed a foul in Saturday's away match against Reading, which United lost 1-3. Gillespie appeared on the field as a substitute in the second half and was immediately sent off for elbowing opponent Stephen Hunt. Due to this offense, Sheffield Utd's defender will have to miss three matches. However, the disqualification may increase as Gillespie reportedly attacked the opponent again after the match behind the scenes. It is believed that the Football Association (FA) will impose a two-month ban on the offending footballer. The disciplinary committee will announce the decision after a meeting scheduled for January 30. The FA will also investigate the conflict between both teams' managers Neil Warnock (Sheffield Utd) and Wally Downes (Reading), which arose immediately after Gillespie's blow to Hunt."
