Spanish champion will have to do without their defender Sylvinho for a month. The Brazilian pulled a calf muscle in his right leg during training.
The 32-year-old defender, representing Barcelona for the third season, has played nine matches in the Spanish championship this season and two in the Champions League. Sylvinho will miss not only the next five "La Liga" matches, but also the Spanish King's Cup games against "Zaragoza", as well as the Champions League round of 16 matches against "Liverpool", where "Barcelona" defends the title.
A much better news for Frank Rijkaard's team is that after rehabilitation from knee and foot injuries, forwards Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi are already finishing and will soon be able to play again.
