Today's attempt by London to acquire the striker Didier Drogba has failed. An offer of 17 million euros (58.65 million litas) was made for the striker. However, Marseille's club president, Christophe Bouchet, stated that they will not sell the striker.
"We will definitely not let go of Drogba for such a small amount," said the president.
"Marseille's" head coach P. Diouf told the press that the club has already agreed on the arrival of French youth (U-21) player Habib Bamogo to Marseille.
This season, the striker scored 16 goals representing the team. His contract at the new club will continue until 2009.
