T. Danilevičius' goal determined the victory of "Bologna" © EuroFootball.com

The first goal for his new "Bologna" club was scored by the Lithuanian legionnaire Tomas Danilevičius, whose accurate strike was the only and decisive one in the Italian second division "Serie B" match against "Albinoleffe".

In January, T. Danilevičius, who joined "Bologna", did not score in his first two matches just like the team, but the home match against "Albinoleffe" started very successfully for the Lithuanian and he already led the hosts forward six minutes after Claudio Bellucci's pass.

The guests did not give up and later on, the goalkeeper of the Bologna club, Francesco Antonioli, also had work to do, but the result remained unchanged and the hosts won by 1-0.

This victory helped "Bologna" rise to second place in the league standings, meanwhile, "Brescia" with Marius Stankevičius lost 1-2 away against "Cesena" and are tied for 11th-12th place.

It is likely that Turin's "Juventus" will become the winter champions, as they were saved from a defeat against "Spezia" in the last minutes of the match by a goal from Pavelo Nedved. However, "Napoli" team can still catch up with the "Old Lady", as they will play on Sunday.
