Currently in third place in the Portuguese league, Lisbon club announced that they have signed a rental agreement with former Moscow striker Derlei.
The 31-year-old Brazilian moved to Dynamo two years ago from another Portuguese team "Porto", with which he won the UEFA Cup and became the UEFA Champions League winner.
During the two years spent at the club in the Russian capital, Derlei scored 20 goals, but despite everything, he expressed his desire to return to Portugal, where he started his professional career representing the "Leiria" club.
The player's decision was also influenced by the fact that "Benfica" continues their campaign in Europe - in the UEFA Cup round of 16, the Portuguese club will face Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest.
