The goalkeeper of the Spanish national team and club, Ruben Baraja, has suffered an injury and will not be able to help his team for at least two weeks.
The diagnosis is a torn muscle in his left leg. According to club representatives, it is expected that the player will fully recover and be able to help his team again during the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, where Valencia will face their eternal rivals, Inter Milan, on February 21st.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first injury for Baraja this season - he already missed the beginning of the championship this year due to an injury that prevented him from playing for the first two months.
Meanwhile, despite the injuries plaguing Valencia this season, the team has been showing good form in the recent La Liga matches, having secured five victories in the last six games. However, in the last match against Sevilla, Valencia had to admit defeat to Real Betis with a score of 2-1.
