"Premier League team has added defender Michael Ball to their ranks. The footballer previously played for Eindhoven. Financial details of the transfer are not disclosed.
M. Ball started his career in 1996 at his hometown club Everton in Liverpool, and in 2001 moved to Glasgow Rangers for almost 10 million euros. However, in Scotland, the defender, who also represented the English national team once, suffered a serious knee injury and stopped progressing. The footballer was acquired by PSV in 2005, but due to the consequences of the injury, he only played 12 matches for the Dutch team.
This is the second acquisition for Man City - previously the team was strengthened by Djamel Abdoun from the French club Ajaccio."
