The 35-year-old player arrived in England on loan from the Swedish team Helsingborg and quickly established himself in the team, although he only scored his first goal in the Premier League on Wednesday in the match against Watford.
"Knowing my age, I never thought I would have the chance to play again with players of this caliber," said the former pillar of the Swedish national team. "Last summer I went back home to Sweden and was more or less decided not to go anywhere, but when I received an invitation from Manchester, I was a little surprised and pleased.
