n Monday, two "A Lyga" clubs went to training camps before the new season. Last season, the remaining eighth "Šiauliai" footballers held a week-long camp in Palanga, while the "Vilnius" footballers, who finished a step higher last year, went to Turkey for a three-week camp.

Among them, only Vadimas Tarasovas and Mindaugas Valys, who are ill, did not go to Palanga, will spend six days by the sea and on Wednesday, February 7, will play a friendly match in Latvia against "Ventspils", and on Saturday, February 10, matches are planned against one of the "A Lyga" clubs.

Meanwhile, having won 5-2 in a friendly match against Vilnius "Vėtra" on Saturday, they will prepare at the Turkish hotel and football complex "Titanic" until February 25. During the camp, the team will train twice a day and plan to play control matches with other foreign teams who will stay in the same hotel. "Titanic" sports center hosted the first camp and "Vėtra", starting the second training camp in Turkey on Tuesday.

In Turkey, "Vilnius" went with a squad of 22 football players: Liudvikas Valius, Artūras Semežas, Rodnei, Ramūnas Radavičius, Georgas Freidgeimas, Erasmo, Marcio, Maciel Junior, Everton, Muller, Andreson, Vytautas Lukša, Rinaldo, Aivaras Laurišas, Vikentijus Ivanovas, Kleyras, Adilsonas, Piotras Dubrovskij, Marius Stanaitis, Marius Papšys, Darius Artiomovas, and Wasiu Akanni.
