Outsiders of the German "Bundesliga" have new problems. In recent days, after the head coach of the team was replaced, the goals in the team's home stadium "AOL," according to the German newspaper "Hamburger Abendblatt," are too low.
According to the source, the height of the goals is 2.39 m from the ground, whereas according to the rules, the height of the crossbar should be 2.44 m.
"Of course, we will check the goals again. If it turns out that they need to be changed, we will install new ones that comply with the rules before the next match against Borussia Dortmund," said Hamburg representative Joern Wolf to the German sports news agency SID.
Interestingly, Hamburg's offensive performance (19 goals in 20 matches) in the German league ranks 15th out of 18 teams, while their defense (26 goals) ranks between 9th and 11th.
Last season, Hamburg finished 3rd, but this season they are struggling - plagued by injuries, the team was knocked out of the Champions League already after the group stage, and in the Bundesliga they fell to last place. Last week, the team's management replaced the head coaches - Huub Stevens took over Thomas Doll's position.
