Lithuanian youth national team (up to 21 years old) on Tuesday won their peers from Latvia in a friendly match. Saulius Širmelis' players celebrated victory with a score of 2-1 at the Riga Olympic Sports Center.

Latvians scored first in the match - Aleksandrs Fertovs scored in the 10th minute after a pass from the flank.
However, in the second half, after seven minutes Robertas Vėževičius equalized, and in the 80th minute Povilas Leimonas turned the result around and secured the victory for Lithuania.
Another friendly match between the youth national teams of Lithuania and Latvia will be played on Thursday, February 8.
