Winner of the 2006 LFF Cup, Marijampolė, has signed a contract with Belarusians Aleksandr Sobol and Vitaliy Shuganov and is preparing for this year's season by heading to a training camp in the Ukrainian city of Alushta.

According to the official club website, 24-year-old right-back A. Sobol arrived at "Sūduva" from the 2005 Belarusian champions, Soligorsk's "Shakhtyor". The football player, who already represented Marijampolė in a friendly match against "Kaunas", has also previously played for Minsk's "Torpedo" and Zhdanovichi's "Darida" clubs. The terms of the contract are not disclosed.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old forward Vitaliy Shuganov, who scored a goal in a friendly match against "Atlantas", played last season in the Belarusian second division for Slonim's "Kommunalnik" club, and has also represented Poland's third division "Reval" club during his career.

"Sūduva" plans to invite several players to the camp in Ukraine and is also preparing to play several friendly matches of a training nature. The team is expected to return to Lithuania on March 2nd.
