The head coach of Munich's "Bayern" team, Ottmar Hitzfeld, stated that he is a big admirer of the Spanish national team's striker and Real Madrid captain Raul and would like to acquire him.
"If I had the opportunity to invite a player from Real Madrid, I would invite Raul. To me, he is the best, excellent as a professional and excellent as a person," - quoted Hitzfeld's words from the sports newspaper "Marca."
"If he wanted to join the Bayern team, I would personally invite him," added the German club's coach.
29-year-old Raul has spent his entire professional career at Real Madrid, but now his place in the starting lineup is no longer guaranteed due to competition in the attacking line.
On Tuesday, Munich's "Bayern" will meet Real Madrid in the Champions League match in the Spanish capital.
