Danish national team and Italian Serie A club goalkeeper Martin Jorgensen has extended his contract for another two years and agreed to stay with the team until 2009.
The 31-year-old player's contract with Fiorentina was set to expire at the end of this season, but he decided to extend his agreement for another two years.
The Danish legionnaire arrived in Italy in 1997 and spent seven years in Udinese. In 2004, he moved to Fiorentina, where he appeared 86 times and managed to score 13 goals.
Currently, Fiorentina has collected 25 points in 22 matches in the Italian championship and occupies the 11th position.
