Panevėžio "Ekrano" and Lithuanian national team defender is still of interest to a Moscow club that barely survived in Russia's top league last season.
The Lithuanian participated in the Moscow club's trial when the team was training in Turkey, and then left a very good impression on "Dynamo" representatives. Later, due to health problems, he returned to Panevėžys and did not go with his teammates to the preseason camp in Turkey.
According to the general director of Moscow's "Dynamo," the Lithuanian should travel with the Russian club to a ten-day camp in the Netherlands starting on February 20, and after that, a decision will be made whether to sign a contract with the defender.
"I had a small operation, after which I couldn't exercise for ten days," EuroFootball.com quoted A.Klimavičius. "This week I started running. Tomorrow I fly to Moscow, and from there - to the Netherlands."
"Everything should become clear with the Russian club after the camp," said the defender. "I believe that not exercising didn't affect my fitness, and it shouldn't harm my chances. 'Dynamo' should already have formed an impression during the first camp. I personally think I performed well in Turkey."
It is worth noting that "Dynamo" already has one Lithuanian player - Lithuanian national team goalkeeper Žydrūnas Karčemarskas guards the Moscow club's goal.
