On Sunday, in the French "Ligue 1" championship, two remaining matches of the 25th round were played. Both matches ended in a draw - "Monaco" and "Lens" as well as "Marseille" and "Nantes" clubs finished their matches with a 0-0 result.
In the second place of the tournament table and successfully competing in the UEFA Europa League, "Lens" hosted "Monaco" at home, who rarely scored points, and could not break through their defense. After these draws, "Lens" with 43 points continues to firmly hold the second place, while the principality club with 30 points remains in 14th position.
The same result 0-0 also ended the match in Marseille, where the very inconsistent "Marseille" club hosted one of the tournament's underdogs "Nantes" and could not defeat them or take advantage of the opportunity to rise to third place in the tournament table. Currently, Marseille team with 38 points occupies the 5th place in the championship, while "Nantes" continues to be the underdog of the tournament, only ahead of the league newcomer "Sedan" club.
