The captain and goalkeeper of Munich club, currently struggling in the German Bundesliga, Oliver Kahn, claims that his team lacks respect, passion, and dedication to the club.

"Munich's 'Bayern' has given a lot to the players. And they should be grateful for that. It is obvious that at the very least, what we can do is fight in every match, as if it were a battle for survival. We need more passion and sports spirit," said the 37-year-old goalkeeper.

After the winter break in the German championship, "Bayern" only collected 4 points in 5 matches, and in the last 4 matches, they only scored 1 goal. After 22 rounds, the last two years' Bundesliga champions are only in 4th place, trailing leaders "Schalke" by 12 points. Recently, Munich club sacked coach Felix Magath and appointed legendary Ottmar Hitzfeld in his place, but so far, it has not yielded results.

"Our biggest problem is that after conceding a goal, we collapse and cannot 'come back' into the matches," continued O.Kahn – "we have to work even harder."

Next Tuesday, "Bayern" will play the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals in Madrid against the local team, "Real."
