However, A. Aquilani suffered a thigh injury to his left leg during Sunday's practice. It turned out that he will not be able to play for about a month and will miss both of Roma's matches in the Champions League round of 16 against Lyon.
This season, the 22-year-old A. Aquilani has represented the team in 10 Serie A matches and 5 Champions League matches. Last year, he helped the Italian under-21 national team qualify for the 2007 European Championship.
