Scotland's national team and Glasgow Rangers forward Kenny Miller has recovered from an injury and will be able to appear in his team's lineup in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against Milan.
Miller had an abscess removed from his wisdom tooth and also recovered from a head injury he sustained in last Saturday's match against Aberdeen, when he collided with a linesman while warming up.
"Yesterday, Kenny underwent dental surgery and now he is healthy," Celtic's head coach Gordon Strachan told journalists on Monday.
Miller's recovery is good news for the coach, as it is uncertain if the other three forwards - Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Maciej Zurawski, and Craig Beattie - who missed training due to injuries, will be able to play on Tuesday.
"Three of our forwards didn't train this morning, so I am worried about that," Strachan said. "The concern would be even greater if none of them were ready."
The coach believes that his players, aiming for another Scottish champions title, will face significant pressure from Milan, despite the match being played at Celtic Park.
When asked if it's a good time to play against Milan, Strachan dismissed such thoughts: "Someone told me that, but I don't think they saw the matches I studied."
"At the beginning of the season, points were taken from our opponents, which affected their game, but looking at them now, they are a great team, and they are more relaxed," the coach said.
