Continuing preparations for the season in Ukraine, the winner of the LFF Cup Marijampolė Aluštas defeated the second team of the Ukrainian Premier League Mariupol "Illichevets" with a score of 2-1 in their group in the tournament and advanced to the semi-finals.
As reported on the club's official website, the goals for "Sūduva" were scored by the team's newcomer, the Brazilian Dyone, and the defender Tomas Miklinevičius.
After this victory, the people of Marijampolė advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament of eight teams where they will meet with the reserves of Donetsk's "Shakhtar".
It is worth reminding that the Lithuanian team already played against the second team of "Shakhtar" last weekend and then lost to the opponents with a score of 0-1, while on Tuesday "Sūduva" defeated the team of Lugansk "Zaria" with a score of 3-1 in the other group.
