ast season, former Lithuanian national team goalkeeper who played for the "Vilnius" team moved to Azerbaijan and will represent the Baku "Inter" club, where two Lithuanians already play - a goalkeeper and a forward.

31-year-old T. Ražanauskas played 24 games for "Vilnius" in the Lithuanian championship last year, but his season was disrupted by an injury which kept him out of action for about three months.

After the end of the "A Lyga" championship, "Vilnius" decided not to renew the contract with the experienced player, so T. Ražanauskas had to find a new club.

In January, he went to Poland to participate in a trial with Lodz "LKS", but he did not stay with the team and followed the example of a few compatriots by moving to Azerbaijan.

The Lithuanian goalkeeper played in Azerbaijani league matches on Thursday, where Baku "Inter" lost 0-1 to city rivals "Neftchi" and dropped to sixth place in the standings.

Since last year, the "Inter" team has been represented by 27-year-old forward V. Trakys, and 28-year-old goalkeeper A. Gedgaudas went to Azerbaijan after the Lithuanian championship season together with former teammate and defender at Klaipėda "Atlantas" club, Darius Žutautas. The latter represents the Lenkoran "Khazar" team, currently leading in the Azerbaijan league.
