Official website confirmed that the club has signed a five-year contract with an Italian player belonging to the team, who will move to the new team next summer.
The nineteen-year-old, who currently plays on loan at Derby County, will see his contract with Arsenal expire this summer and the player did not hide his desire to move back to his homeland next summer.
The player has been linked with several Italian clubs. The striker was of interest to Inter, Milan, Napoli, and Torino, but the race for the young Italian was won by Fiorentina, currently in seventh place in the Serie A championship. Recently, the club's sports director Pantaleo Corvini stated that both parties are very close to an agreement, and shortly after the agreement became official.
One of the most promising Italian players made his debut wearing an Arsenal shirt at the age of just sixteen and marked his debut by scoring two goals. Making his debut in the Italian youth team last December in a match against Luxembourg, the player also managed to stand out.
