The new head coach of the London team is Portuguese Jose Mourinho. The former strategist of "Chelsea" signed a three-year contract. Jose Mourinho will replace Claudio Ranieri, who was released from the team. Mourinho's contract with the Porto team still had two years left, but the clubs agreed on compensation.

The 41-year-old Portuguese coach, after winning the Champions League, said he was definitely leaving his team, but did not reveal for some time which club he would move to.

"Chelsea gives me an extraordinary opportunity," said Mourinho. "It is a wonderful club with the best players. The club's ambitions and plans excite me. I am sure that we will also have such great support from the fans here." Mourinho also says that his biggest goal for now is to win the Premier League matches.

According to Mourinho, he will also reduce the composition of "Chelsea". "I want 21 players, no more," says the coach.

The terms of the coach's contract are not disclosed, but it is said that Mourinho could become the highest-paid coach in the world.
