The forward of the club currently occupying the fifth position in the Italian championship has been disqualified for three months for doping. 24-year-old M. Borriello tested positive for doping after the match with "Roma" at San Siro stadium on November 11th - prednisolone was found in his sample. The player was temporarily suspended until December 21st, but he claimed he was innocent and stated that the positive doping test was due to a cream used by his girlfriend. However, on Tuesday evening, the Disciplinary Committee decided that the player would be disqualified for three months - meaning he will not be able to play until March 21st.
