The last match, which took place in the surroundings of Belek, against the "Ural" team representing the Sverdlovsk region of Russia, did not go well for the people of Kaunas, especially in the first half where the Russian footballers looked much more superior.

"Ural" controlled the game for most of the first half, and in the 10th minute, taking advantage of an error by the Kaunas defenders, the opponent's goalkeeper A. Fidler scored a precise shot into the lower corner of the goal, leading his team 1-0.

A few minutes later, another mistake in the Kaunas defense resulted in an inaccurate pass to the Russian forward A. Salnikov who skillfully placed the ball past the slightly out of position goalkeeper Mindaugas Malinauskas - 2-0.

After the break, the coaches of the Lithuanian champions sent out a significantly renewed lineup which proved to be effective. The people of Kaunas managed to take control and threatened the opponent's goal several times. Vjačeslav Hleb and Marius Činikas had excellent opportunities to score, with the latter's shot hitting the crossbar.

In the second half, the opponents created only a couple of dangerous moments, but managed to convert one of them into a goal - in the 65th minute, taking advantage of another mistake by the shaky defense of "Kaunas" in this match, and receiving a cross ball from the edge of the field, the opponent's forward M. Mysin punished the opponents once again. This time the ball was forced out of the goal by the Kaunas goalkeeper from Slovenia, Mihael Hertelendi.

The match ended with a 3-0 victory for "Ural," and the next scheduled match that day between the second team of Kaunas and local "Manavgatspor" did not take place due to the poor condition of the training ground after a night of rain.

"Kaunas" concluded their training cycle in Turkey and will return to Lithuania on Thursday, where they will prepare for the upcoming Baltic League matches.
