UEFA Champions League on Tuesday will start the second leg matches of the knockout round. Before the second match, only one team out of four will have an advantage, awaiting an intriguing battle that will reveal half of the strongest clubs in the elite European tournament. EuroFootball.com briefly reviews the news of the teams.

London's Chelsea - Porto (First leg 1-1)

Chelsea captain John Terry will not be able to help the English champions in the match against Porto - the 26-year-old defender has not recovered from a severe head injury suffered in the League Cup final against Arsenal.

However, Dutch defender Khalid Boulahrouz returns to the "Blues" after three weeks of absence due to a dislocated shoulder.

In the Porto ranks, Slovak legionnaire Marek Cech will replace defender Jose Bosingwa, who suffered a thigh injury in the Portuguese championship match against Braga.

Possible starting lineups:

Chelsea: Cech; L.Diarra, Essien, Carvalho, Bridge; Makelele, Lampard, Ballack, Robben; Drogba, Shevchenko.

Porto: Helton; Fucile, Pepe, Alves, Buccolini; Assuncao, Meireles, Lucho Gonzalez; Quaresma, Lopez, Postiga.

Liverpool - Barcelona (First leg 2-1)

Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez has no serious injury problems before the match, apart from the long-term absentees Luis Garcia and Harry Kewell.

Peter Crouch did not suffer any negative consequences after the match against Manchester United, despite playing with a broken nose.

Barcelona allowed Deco and Lilian Thuram to rest against Sevilla over the weekend, so both will be ready for the match against Liverpool.

Forward Samuel Eto'o, who missed the first leg trying to recover from a knee injury, is also included in the squad.

Possible starting lineups:

Liverpool: Reina; Finnan, Carragher, Agger, Aurelio; Gerrard, Sissoko, Alonso, Riise; Kuyt, Bellamy.

Barcelona: Valdes; Puyol, Thuram, Oleguer; Xavi, Marquez, Iniesta, Deco; Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi.

Lyon - Roma (First leg 0-0)

Lyon strikers Sylvain Wiltord and Karim Benzema missed the first match between the teams, but have already returned to the team and played in the French league match against Sochaux.

Roma defender Rodrigo Taddei, who missed two matches due to a thigh strain, should be back on the field.

Meanwhile, Montenegrin Mirko Vucinic may be ready despite a shin injury suffered in Saturday's Serie A match against Ascoli.

Possible starting lineups:

Lyon: Coupet; Reveillere, Squillaci, Cris, Abidal; Tiago, A.Diarra, Juninho; Govou, Malouda; Fred.

Roma: Doni; Panucci, Chivu, Mexes, Tonetto; Pizarro, De Rossi; Taddei, Perrotta, Mancini; Totti.

Valencia - Inter (First leg 2-2)

Valencia no longer has injury problems - Spanish national team defenders Ruben Baraja and Vicente, who have recovered from injuries, return to the lineup, as well as defender Asier Del Horno, who made his debut in the La Liga match against Celta Vigo after finally recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.

Inter will definitely have to do without midfielder Patrick Vieira, and the chances of the injured Esteban Cambiasso playing are doubtful.

Brazilian forward Adriano stretched his hamstring in the draw against Udinese last week and will not be able to play.

Possible starting lineups:

Valencia: Canizares; Miguel, Ayala, Albiol, Moretti; Angulo, Baraja, Marchena, Silva; Morientes, Villa.

Inter: Julio Cesar; Burdisso, Córdoba, Materazzi, Maicon; Figo, J.Zanetti, Dacourt, Stankovic; Crespo, Ibrahimovic.
