On Tuesday, Munich announced that their team will be reinforced by the acquisition of Argentinian defender Jose Ernesto Sosa from the "Estudiantes" team.
A club representative stated that the 21-year-old footballer underwent a medical examination on Monday and signed a four-year contract with the club, which will come into effect starting from the month of July.
"This is a step towards my dreams," said J.E. Sosa upon arriving in Munich.
Bayern did not disclose how much they paid for the player, but the German media valued the player at 10 million euros.
The Argentine is the third footballer acquired for the next season. Contracts have also been signed with "Aachen" forward Jan Schlaudraff and "Schalke" defender Hamit Altintop.
