During the Champions League match against Milan's "Inter" on Tuesday, Valencia's Ruben Baraja suffered a muscle injury in his right leg, which means he will be unable to help the team for the majority of the remaining season.
"The recovery period for this type of injury is at least two months," - quoted the club's doctor on the official Valencia website.
R. Baraja, who is facing his fourth injury this season, will miss the Champions League quarter-final matches, but should recover in time for the final matches of the Spanish championship.
In addition, during these matches, Valencia's attacking right-back Vicente also suffered an injury, and he will soon undergo detailed examinations of the muscle in his right thigh.
Valencia, currently occupying third place in the "Primera" league, is the only Spanish team left in the Champions League.
