On Thursday, the first quarter-final matches of the UEFA Cup tournament were played in Europe. The title defending "Sevilla" unexpectedly played a draw at home against Donetsk "Shakhtar", one of the favorites Bremen's "Werder" defeated Vigo's "Celta" at the end of the match, "Osasuna" snatched a victory with the last minutes of the match against "Rangers", and the only victory away after a tough fight was won by "Tottenham" defeating the "Braga" team.
