London team's head coach Jose Mourinho announced that he will retire from football when he turns 55 years old.
Portugal, who just turned 44 in January, plans to become the head coach of the Portuguese national team before leaving the world of sports.
According to the extravagant J.Mourinho, he does not intend to be a coach forever, but will retire at the pinnacle of his profession.
"I am one of the best coaches in the world," says J.Mourinho. "I have already decided that I will be in football until I turn 55. When I return to Portugal at the end of my career, I want to be the coach of the national team. I don't want to retire from football too late, so it won't take long."
J.Mourinho also claims that there is still a chance to fight for a third consecutive Premier League title in England, despite currently being far ahead.
"We will see if we can win the Premier League. This year we are plagued by injuries. It's very difficult to maintain the team's level and at the same time strengthen work discipline. We are where we are because of our mentality, but we cannot deny that we are facing difficulties."
By the way, a few days ago, J.Mourinho admitted that he had a dispute with the team's owner Roman Abramovich, who decided not to allocate funds for the acquisition of new players during this year's "January transfer window", but acknowledged that the Russian is right as he is the "club owner," and this dispute only helped him become more motivated and look forward.
