The club currently occupying the seventh place in the Premier League has extended the contract with goalkeeper Adam Federici for another two years until 2009.
The 22-year-old Australian was loaned to Bristol City at the beginning of this season. A. Federici has mostly been the backup goalkeeper to Marcus Hahnemann in the main team and has mostly defended the Reading goal in FA Cup matches.
Reading, who only made it to the Premier League last summer, is currently fighting for a place in European cup competitions.
